Slovenian team is in full preparation for the roe deer captures

In the frame of the project, we will study also the relationship between prey, predator and hunting regimes. That is why a special attention will go to studying the prey species, as well.

Project team from Slovenia thus prepared everything for roe deer captures, to study for the first time Slovenian roe deer through means of radio-tracking and get precious insight in their movement. In cooperation with hunters, who also participate in the project, they already set the box-traps on the field to safely capture roe deer and fit them telemetry collars.
