After spending March and April in her winter area (map 1: red polygon), she set off on 2nd May and moved the furthest of all marked roe deer in just one and a half day: to the Triglav National Park area (map 1: yellow polygon). The air distance between the two areas is approximately 15 kilometres. Then, in mid-May, she moved further (blue polygon), about one and a half kilometres away. Tereza may have moved in search of quieter areas to give birth to avoid summer tourists in the National Park. It is also interesting to note that in September Tereza returned to her winter area, which she occupied last season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"594\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lifewolfalps.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Slika-11_Tereza_Nives-Pagon_b-1024x594.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19742\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lifewolfalps.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Slika-11_Tereza_Nives-Pagon_b-1024x594.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.lifewolfalps.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Slika-11_Tereza_Nives-Pagon_b-300x174.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.lifewolfalps.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Slika-11_Tereza_Nives-Pagon_b-768x445.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.lifewolfalps.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Slika-11_Tereza_Nives-Pagon_b-1536x891.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/www.lifewolfalps.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Slika-11_Tereza_Nives-Pagon_b-2048x1188.jpeg 2048w, https:\/\/www.lifewolfalps.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Slika-11_Tereza_Nives-Pagon_b-640x371.jpeg 640w, https:\/\/www.lifewolfalps.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Slika-11_Tereza_Nives-Pagon_b-1200x696.jpeg 1200w, https:\/\/www.lifewolfalps.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Slika-11_Tereza_Nives-Pagon_b-1920x1114.jpeg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 639px) 98vw, (max-width: 1199px) 64vw, 770px\" \/>
Seasonal home ranges and movements of female roe deer Tereza in Bohinjska Bistrica hunting ground and National ParkTriglav from March to August 2022.
