In cooperation with Public Institute for Culture and Tourism Ko\u010devje, we have organised an educational seminar „Responsible wolf tourism“<\/strong>. We gathered at the Jezero Tourist Information Centre in Ko\u010devje, where the theoretical part of the seminar took place. The participants were introduced to the biology and ecology of the wolf and interesting stories from the life of wolves<\/strong>, that were monitored via telemetry. They learned about guidelines for responsible wolf tourism<\/a><\/strong>, examples of responsible tourism programmes and the basics of forest pedagogy. After a warm snack, we went out into the field with the field biologists. Weather conditions were not the best but the field trip exceeded our expectations: we found red deer prints in the mud, explored a cave used by badgers, and were surprised by a real wolf scat on the grass. We played a few games as part of the forest pedagogy<\/strong>: we listened to different sounds in the forest, thought about the food web and turned into wolves, weasels and mice for a few moments. While playing in the forest, we also came across a lynx prey. A total of 25 participants took part in the seminar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Zusammenarbeit mit dem \u00f6ffentlichen Institut f\u00fcr Kultur und Tourismus Ko\u010devje wurde ein Bildungsseminar „Verantwortungsvoller Wolfstourismus“ organisiert. Die Teilnehmer:innen versammelten sich im Tourismusinformationszentrum Jezero in Ko\u010devje, wo der theoretische Teil des Seminars stattfand. Die Teilnehmer:innen erhielten eine Einf\u00fchrung in die Biologie und \u00d6kologie des Wolfes und erfuhren interessante Geschichten aus dem Leben der W\u00f6lfe, die mittels Telemetrie \u00fcberwacht werden. Sie lernten Leitlinien f\u00fcr einen verantwortungsvollen Wolfstourismus, Beispiele f\u00fcr verantwortungsvolle Tourismusprogramme und die Grundlagen der Waldp\u00e4dagogik kennen. Nach einem warmen Imbiss ging es mit den Feldbiolog:innen hinaus ins Gel\u00e4nde. Die Wetterbedingungen waren nicht die besten, aber die Exkursion \u00fcbertraf alle Erwartungen: Die Teilnehmer:innen Abdr\u00fccke von Rothirschen im Schlamm, erkundeten eine von Dachsen genutzte H\u00f6hle und wurden von einem echten Wolfskot auf der Wiese \u00fcberrascht. Im Rahmen der Waldp\u00e4dagogik wurden einige Spiele gespielt: Genaues Hinh\u00f6ren bei den verschiedenen Ger\u00e4uschen im Wald, Nachdenken \u00fcber Nahrungsnetze und die eine oder andere Verwandlung in W\u00f6lfe, Wiesel und M\u00e4use. Beim Spielen im Wald wurde schlie\u00dflich noch ein Luchsriss gefunden. Insgesamt haben 25 Teilnehmer:innen an dem Seminar teilgenommen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
